Double Pole MCCB Wiring Connection Diagram/Video tutorial

In this post, I am writing about the double pole MCCB wiring connection and its wiring diagram. In the MCCB circuit breaker, we have mostly used the three-pole MCCB and 4 pole MCCB breaker. These two types of MCCB circuit breakers are for switching the three-phase or three-phase 4 wire system. However, we can use it for a single-phase (2 wire supply). But the best option is to use the double pole MCCB for single phase or double pole MCB for single phase.

How to wire double pole MCCB wiring connection

In the double pole MCCB, we have 4 terminals like a double pole MCB circuit breaker. You can connect your incoming supply to top terminals and can get supply to load from bottom terminals. However, you can connect the incoming supply to the bottom terminals and can get the supply to load from the upper terminals. Note that this connection is just for the double pole MCCB circuit breaker which doesn't have any ELCB or Shunt trip coil connection.  Here I have shown the double pole MCCB circuit breaker and 2 pole mccb wiring connection diagram.

The wiring of single phase MCCB circuit breaker is too simple and easily available in 32 amperes, 40 amperes, 70 amperes, 100 amperes, 120 amperes etc. And you can select according to your total load. In some single phase distribution boards, the double pole MCCB circuit breaker is used as the main circuit breaker in the place of the double pole MCB circuit breaker. Here is a video tutorial about the wiring and installation of a double pole MCCB circuit breaker in the Urdu/Hindi language.
