Wiring Lights In Parallel Complete Guide

Hi Every one, i hope you are waiting my next tutorial, in this post you learn about wiring lights in parallel in which i tech with a lights parallel diagram and with a video tutorial. In this post you learn how to wire lights in parallel connection.

Not only this but you learn about the voltage and current in parallel circuit and we also shown with you the correct volts and ampere in parallel circuit. You think how, so be cool in this post we not only shown in wiring lights in parallel circuit but we also shown this circuit with voltmeters and ammeter which connect with this circuit.

We know that in parallel circuit the voltage will be same in every point of circuit and current (I) ampere will be different regarding load. In this post you will completely understand by reading below and watch wiring light bulbs in parallel video tutorial in Urdu & Hindi language.

Wiring Lights In Parallel and Situation of Voltage and Current In Parallel Circuit

This lights wiring in parallel circuit with power supply is too easy connection, in this connection first of all connect the neutral (N / ground) wire to all bulb socket one by one and then connect the L (phase) wire to the light bulb socket other terminals one by one.

The below diagram is different from by above words but the method is same...
In the below diagram, i shown 3 lights which rated volts is same 120 volts but the wattage is different, 1st watts is 100 W, 2nd is 200 W and 3rd is 250 Watts. I connect Ampere meters with all light bulbs in series and i also connect the voltmeters with all points of circuit.

Note that i also connect a one way switch between supply and light bulbs connection wire or we can said that i connect between load and power source as i shown in below diagram.

Voltage and Current in Parallel Circuit

So the question is that why i connect voltmeter and amp meters with this simple and easy circuit, are i make my diagram lenghty,
Not i am trying to tech you about voltage and current situation in parallel circuit. Safe these points in your mind because you will face these things in electrical works when you making or studying about parallel circuit.

  1. Voltage will be same in every path of circuit in parallel
  2. Current will be different in every point of circuit in parallel
  3. current will be different regarding the load
So in the above diagram i wired first 120 V and 100 watt, you see that the voltage showing voltmeter is same 120 volts but current 0.83 amp.
You also find ampere by the formula, " watt/voltage = ampere, it's means that 100/120 = .83 ampere"

The 2nd light bulb is 200 Watts ( sorry i forgot to write watts of bulb in diagram) and in rated voltage is 120 volts
                                        200/120 = 1.66 ampere

The 3rd light bulb is 120 volts and 250 watts so the calculation of ampere will be...
                                    150/120 =  2.083 amps

So we find out the the voltage is same in every point of circuit in parallel and current ampere will be different.

Light bulbs Wiring in Parallel Video Tutorial In Urdu

So not understood wiring light bulbs in parallel, don't worry lets watch the below video tutorial for completely understood, and IN SHA ALLAH after watching below video tutorial, you will completely learn wiring lights in parallel with voltmeter and ammeters.

I hope after watch the above wiring lights in parallel video tutorial, you will completely understood parallel circuit and voltage and current in parallel circuit.
