Today i am gonna to tech you about the electrical installation in home, in this post i will clear your mind about the installation of electrical wiring in house or home. I use a simple diagram for this class where i shown 3 room, and one kitchen house. And i shown a distribution board where i instill the circuit breakers. I use the MCB (miniature circuit breaker) for distribution board where i use a double pole circuit breaker as main circuit breaker and other breakers are single pole which is use for controlling home different loads. Note that this basic and simple diagram but this post is not end on a diagram. I also make a video tutorial about single phase electrical wiring installation in home in Urdu / Hindi.
I take the blow diagram form blog www.electricalonline4u.com . In the below diagram i shown incoming supply As red and black color lines where i denote this by L and N (neutral and phase). And then i connect this supply to main 2 pole circuit breaker. After that i connect the phase or hot wire form 2 pole to other single pole MCB breakers. And the neutral to the neutral connection point or connectors. Then i provide the supply form the breaker to the rooms/loads. Note that i provide 2 phase wire (hot wires) to a single room and one neutral wire. The neutral will be common for both phase wires where the 10 amps circuit breaker for room small load (outlets, lights etc) and the 20 amps breaker wire for room high load (air conditioner, heater etc). Note that use the high quality and high loaded electric cable for neutral which can support up to 30 amperes load.
One thing more that i you provide 2 neutral wire for each phase then it's will be better form the first method. However this connection just for your understanding. In next incoming video tutorial we will be make complete guide with examples.
