# Electrical Load Calculation In A House By Using Simple Formula

Before we take a step to do electrical house wiring, first we need to do electrical load calculation , and to find out the complete load and then chose the suitable size of electrical cable and circuit breaker for distribution board. ## How To Electrical Load Calculation Watt, Current and Voltage

As you that all electrical appliances have there own power (watt). Which is written or printed on label. Now if you find out the all electrical appliances total watt then you can easily find out the complete load of your house by using a simple formula In this post i will shown you also the electrical load calculation using simple house electrical load calculation examples.

In every calculation if we know about the two values then we can easily find out the third value, For example we know about the voltage , and watt then we can easily find out the (current) ampere or load . Or if we have the ampere and voltage then we can easily find out the wattage, or if we know the watt and current (ampere) the we can easily find out the pressure.

To find out the total current we follow the formula

Power / Pressure = current

So W/V = A

For example our total wattage is 5000 W and our provided incoming supply is 220 volts then our total current will be

5000 / 220 = 22.72 A

Now we test a machine current my using a ampere meter and it's take 10 Ampere of current and we did not know about it's wattage. Then we follow the simple watt finding formula.

Current x Pressure = Power
So
A x V = W

So the total current is 10 A and provided supply is 220 AC volts

Therefore

10 x 220 = 2200 W

If we want to find out the voltage in a circuit and we know about the current and watt then we follow the formula

Power / Current = Pressure

So

W / A = V

So if our total watt is 2000 W and current is 9.09 then our supply will be

2000 / 9.09 = 220 V
